Dino Melaye has given INEC a 7-day ultimatum to review his petitions regarding the Kogi governorship election.

Dino Melaye, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) candidate in the November 11 Kogi State governorship election, has given the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) a seven-day ultimatum to review the election.

Speaking on Channels TV’s Politics Today, Melaye, who came third in the election won by Usman Ododo of the All Progressives Congress (APC), alleged cases of mutilation, overvoting, and voter suppression.

He claimed that the election results were manipulated, urging INEC to cancel the election in five local government areas of Kogi Central, citing irregularities. Melaye emphasized that silence in a just society is a crime.
