Wizkid announces 4 to 5-year break from music, considers a career in football, golf, other sports

Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, the Afrobeats sensation known as Wizkid, just hinted at a massive 4 to 5-year music break, aiming to kick-start a career in football, golf, or FIFA gaming.

In the latest social media buzz, a disgruntled fan of the singer took to Instagram to slide into the artist’s DMs, expressing impatience and even issuing a threat, questioning if new music was in the pipeline.

Surprisingly, Wizkid found the fan’s outburst rather amusing and responded to the situation.

He laughed at the fan at first, then clarified that he was on vacation at the time.

On the other hand, Wizkid has made more remarks on his Instagram page, implying that he might take a four to five year hiatus to consider alternative options for his career, contemplating possible ventures into football, golf, FIFA, or even the world of wrestling.
