Hilda Bassey, a well-known Nigerian culinary sensation, has reacted to the remarkable achievement of Irish chef Alan Fisher, based in Japan, who set not one but two Guinness World Records for the longest solo cooking marathon.
As previously reported by AMMYAMERICA, Alan Fisher, an Irish restaurant owner and chef, broke two Guinness World Records for cooking marathons. He accomplished the remarkable feat by cooking continuously for an astonishing 119 hours and 57 minutes, surpassing the previous record set by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, which stood at 93 hours and 11 minutes earlier this year.
He also broke the record for the longest baking marathon category, as he diligently baked for an impressive 47 hours and 21 minutes, surpassing the previous record of 31 hours and 16 minutes.
Reacting, Hilda Baci, on her X page, congratulated him.
”Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher! 119hrs 57mins is a huge achievement, and I wish him all the best as the new world record holder.”
