Nigerian actor Kanayo O. Kanayo has reached out to Mark Zuckerberg regarding his Instagram account. He is worried about losing many followers
The veteran actor revealed that his Instagram followers dropped from 2.3 million to 1.9 million over the past 7 to 8 months.
He questioned why his follower count was declining instead of growing, pointing out that many other creators are facing the same issue.
Kanayo O. Kanayo urged Zuckerberg and his team to address the problem, emphasizing that Nigerian creators deserve fair treatment, as their success also benefits the platform.
The industry leader pointed out that this trend mainly happens in Africa and urged the Meta team to investigate
