KCee declares he will take legal action against the individual responsible for his Ojapiano sound, revealing evidence of a payment exceeding N1 million in a new video, stating “Enough is Enough.”

Five months post the launch of “Ojapiano,” a hit song by KCee (Kingsley Chinweike Okonkwo), challenges arose as two collaborators raised concerns. Igbo artist Igwe Credo Mbem garnered attention, alleging that he and Ojazzy Igbonile, the originator of the Ojapino sound, were only paid N200k.

Expressing displeasure with Igwe Credo’s actions, the music artist provided receipts detailing payments totaling N1,290,000 made to him on various dates. KCee recounted welcoming Igwe Credo and Ojazzy, covering their meals, and giving them money upon their departure.

The artist stated that despite his continuous efforts, Igwe Credo declined to participate in events. He accused both Igwe Credo and Ojazzy of performing “Ojapiano” without his consent at various occasions, asserting that the song is his intellectual property.

KCee additionally asserted that he had not received royalties from the song, released five months prior, emphasizing his authority to decide whether Igwe Credo and Ojazzy should receive royalties. In the caption of the video, the singer, who has considered legal action against Igwe Credo, stated:

“Enough is Enough!!! People constantly Peddling lies against me and other celebrities because they believe they can cow us into a corner since we are celebrities and use public sympathy against us. See you in court.”
