There’s an unverified rumor suggesting that Toluige Olokoobi Babalola, the mother of the online sensation Oreofeoluwa, might have taken her own life in Benin, Edo state.
In 2020, Ore gained widespread fame when a video of him pleading with his mother to be calm during her scolding became viral. As a result, he received an invitation from Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, secured ambassadorial agreements, and even made appearances in a film.
Tragically, three years later, Ore’s mother seems to have taken her own life for reasons that remain undisclosed. A social media user disclosed on the microblogging platform that she left behind three children for her husband.

“The woman in the viral Mummy Calm down Video has just committed suicide here in Benin. She refused to speak to anyone about her problems. She left 3 kids for her husband, including the popular Mummy Calm down boy.”
